Terms of (photo) service.
We believe in a collaborative effort from both parties when it comes to your imagery creation and our working relationship.
Our Commitment to You
At Jamie Poh Creative, we consider ourselves a part of your team. Your success is my success. In order to achieve this, these are my terms of service. A more detailed contract is required to be signed by both of us before commencing work.
Booking
Estimate, Contract, Invoice
To book services, an estimate is sent. Once this is accepted, you will be guided to our Contract. Once you have had a chance to read and sign, this will trigger an Invoice to be created which is a copy of your accepted Estimate.
Payments
We accept payments via:
eTransfer (most ideal)
EFT (banking information can be provided)
Company Cheque (must be received by communicated dates or will not be considered booked or paid)
Credit Card (via Stripe - 3% fee on package applicable)
Communication
I only communicate details and coordination through :
Email
Online Meeting (Zoom, Google, Teams, etc)
Phone call
Communication via text message or Apps like Messenger, Instagram or Whatsapp will not be accepted.
Professionalism
We share your information only when:
You give us permission
We need it from service providers (like payment processors or email services)
The law requires it
It’s necessary to protect our uses or our rights
Creative Rights
We use Square Space to run our website and security details can be read here.
Copyrights
According to Canadian Copyright law, the photographer owns the Copyright to all work created. A license is provided to you to use the images based on the agreed upon usage. This is discussed and approved on by both parties at time of booking. Further licenses can be purchased as well and must be requested via email to info@jamiepoh.com
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we find we’ve accidentally collected information from someone under this age, we will delete it.
