Queer as Funk
Press photos for a local queer band
When you get to produce press portraits for a local queer band alongside a talented creative agency like Good Digital, magic happens. I planned a muted curtain background for this set and photographed each band member with their instruments. Played around with a bit of LED as well as some reflected light to mimic stage lighting. We also did a big group shot of the band. The magic really happened when I decided to go off script and play around with a prism I had brought to create a natural rainbow. We had so much fun with these and they ended up using it for the poster for their 10 year show.
